Haunted Theater 2008

Well, we at the Mission Creek Players had our first Haunt meeting this past week. We're callnig it the World of Primal Fears. And here's my insanity: I actually proposed two rooms. What was I thinking? I have a trip to Portugal coming up in September! Ah, well. Should be good fun nonetheless. Here are the rooms I'm designing:

• The River Styx: This will be more of an interlude room, which we've never had before. It will have a "river" running through it and a bridge over the river, spooky sounds. You will have to pay Charon or a Muse a toll to get over the bridge and then you "choose your own fate" by going through one door or another to continue through the Haunt. Not a big scare, but more of a breather from the rest of the haunt. I hope to have a real water feature going, so it will be pretty cool.
• The Railroad Crossing: How about this for a primal fear? You're stuck on the tracks and a huge train is bearing down on you. No way out. How am I going to do that one? Well, you'll just have to come and see.
