My visit to Olympia and Cannon Beach was so nice, so removed from my every day life, that it is odd to be back. Part of me wants to sink into the person I was before I went on vacation, but another part of me doesn't. On my trip, I learned some things about myself, about what I want in life. Coming home makes them seem unreal, as if they were a part of vacation and not a part of my home and work life. But I'm not willing to let go. And neither is God, apparently. He shook me up a bit today by saying "Get ready. Don't wait. Get ready now."
I put down my book and began organizing my house. There is a dream afoot.
