Currently, I'm finishing up running lights for the CLoWN improv group (picture at left) with the Mission Creek Players. They amaze me with their humorous improv skills. We've had a 5-week run and it's been great. Running sound up in the booth with me is Christina Hill, who is always good fun to be around. We've also had a new recruit, a high-schooler named Heaven, who has been learning to run lights and will probably also help with the Haunt. She's very sharp and a sweetheart.
Once Improv closes (this weekend--last show Friday night--come see it--only 5 buckaroos!) we'll begin building the Haunted Theater for 2008, aka..."World of Primal Fear!" I'm designing a room for the first time so I'll be quite busy rounding up foliage and figuring out a water feature. But I'm looking forward to the challenge and keeping busy with my theater friends.
Also on the docket is a trip to PORTUGAL! Whoo! I'm really looking forward to that. I'll be traveling with my sweet Dad and Kathy to visit our roots in Portugal for 2 weeks. I've never traveled outside the USA except for Canada, so it's going to be a real treat.
